Nighttime Confusion & Sketchbook

      It's been a while since I've last posted on this blog. In saying so, I have decided to post a link to my deviantart in the post, that leads to pictures of my recent sketches. The sketchbook itself is from Moleskine, and is not large but rather a medium size. Perfect for travel and easier to keep up with. The sketches inside are various ones from January up to now (September).

I had a leftover piece of thick glossy coated (sort of) card paper that came with a Angel Comic, and decided to use it as something to draw on. I would have done a more detailed pen and ink, but decided to go with something a little different. I may add to it later one, but given that I just replaced my small ink tank in my asian pen, I decided to add in my initials MS in gothic lettering.

As usual, I did a bit more of a nightfall/fantasy pen and ink, that was a bit stylized. It had been a while since I really did more of a fantasy drawing, and I intend on doing more of these. Most of the drawings I do are my own stylized version of the game World of Warcraft. Though in the past I have done a few that were original ideas.

Recently, the more "original" ideas have been done and are labeled "Original".

Interesting Quests in World of Warcraft

For those of you that play the game World of Warcraft, and want to do a quest that doesn't just involve collecting animal parts, or just something with an interesting/creepy storyline, then you might enjoy this list.

This goes for both factions Alliance and Horde.

Horde /Alliance Quests
10. The Forsaken Quest chain (Horde) - If you want a good way to gain reputation with The Forsaken race, then you can run this quest chain, that goes from the starting zone Tirisfal Glades all the way to The Arathi Highlands. It begins with Cartaker Caice, in Deathknell, Tirisfal Glades. (wowhead.com)

9). Welcome to the Machine (Horde)  - This quest is located at South Point Gate, A forsaken outpost that is on the boarder of Silverpine Forest and Hillsbrad Foothills. This quest involves your toon actually being a quest giver for a few moments. It's a fun way to see what the other NPCs have to deal with on a daily basis. (Wowpedia Reference: http://wow.gamepedia.com/Quest:Welcome_to_the_Machine)

8). Trouble at The Sludge Fields (Horde) - Located in Hillsbrad, this is an interesting quest that begins a chain of events that leads you to find out the "secret" of Warden Stillwater. (Reference: http://wow.gamepedia.com/Quest:Welcome_to_the_Machine) The area that this quest takes place in, also happens to look similar to Nazi concentration camps from WWII (Reference from DangerDolan)

7). Admiral Taylor (Neutral)  - The reason I chose this for the list, is because of the interesting garrison that you go to, in order to carry out the quest. This is both horde/alliance. (Reference: http://www.wowhead.com/quest=36183/admiral-taylor#comments)

In case you want to know who Admiral Taylor is: http://wow.gamepedia.com/Taylor

This quest involves your toon heading over to what is known as Admiral Taylor's Garrison. The story of this is that Admiral Taylor, created a Garrison located in Spires of Arak, and was attacked by some Necromancers. He and everyone there, was killed. Now his undead ghost roams the place. (I'm not going to give away as to what happens, for those who have not completed the quest line).

This quest requires level 96 to complete.

6). What's Haunting Witch Hill? (Neutral)  - This is a very interesting and creepy quest chain that involves finding out the reason behind all of the rotting undead that surround what is known as Witch Hill in Dustwallow Marsh of Kalimdor. (Reference: http://www.wowhead.com/quest=27188/whats-haunting-witch-hill). This is both Alliance/Horde quest chain.

5). Uldum Quest Chain(Neutral)  - Again, this is both Alliance/Horde quest. The quest for this, appears to start at level 47 or so, and doesn't start again until level 80-82 or 83 when your toon heads out into Tanaris and meets up with the caravan outside of Uldum. The quest chain that involves Uldum's natives are very interesting, and fun to complete, consists of Egyptian lore references with a bit of "Harrison" Jones (Indiana Jones) mixed in.

4). Agamand Mills Quest Chain (Horde) - I have done this chain many times on my undead, and have enjoyed it each time. Though this one has changed a bit, it still is wonderful to complete. Head over to Agamand Mills, located in Tirisfal Glades, which is sort of behind Brill, up the hill from the farm area known as Garren's Haunt. This is a quest chain that involves the player killing scourge and learning of the Agamand Family. (Reference: http://www.wowhead.com/quest=25031/head-for-the-mills)

3). Karazhan Quest Chain (Neutral)  - Horde or Alliance, if you are looking to rep up with The Violet Eye, and have something interesting to do, this is a good one. Basically these are a series of Raid quests that can be completed by running the raid Karazhan. (Reference: http://wowwiki.wikia.com/wiki/Karazhan_Quest_Progression) Requires level 70 to complete.

NOTE: If you are level 100 and want to obtain the Opera House music scroll for your garrison, for ether Horde or Alliance, kill the boss in Karazhan at the Opera house, and you should loot the scroll there. (Reference: http://www.wowhead.com/item=122231/music-roll-karazhan-opera-house)

2). Raven Hill (Alliance) - Unfortunately, this is not a neutral quest chain. I wish it was, but it is a lot of fun. This is a quest located in Duskwood, that involves you going to Raven Hill and check out what is haunting the area. A bit spooky, but interesting at the same time, full of abandoned buildings and scourge. (reference: http://wowwiki.wikia.com/wiki/Quest:Raven_Hill)

1). Zombie Juice (Alliance) - I believe there is one other quest before this, but not entirely sure. Ether way, this is a fun and silly one to do, but creepy at the same time. Head up the road from Darkshire in Duskwood, and you will find a man named Abercrombie (why does a clothing brand come to mind?) whom is a hermit that lives in an abandoned stone tower on a hill. Go up to him and he will give you a series of mysterious quests to do for him, and the end of it, is a bit of a "surprise".

(I also recommend watching the machinima video of this quest done by Mooclucking. Click Here to watch)

SIDENOTE: (Alliance Only quest)
* The Legend of Stalvin - Probably my MOST favorite quest, aside from every single one in Duskwood, This is by far the most interesting and chilling of them all. (Reference: http://wowwiki.wikia.com/wiki/Quest:The_Legend_of_Stalvan_(1))

To read the story you MUST right click on all of the scrolls in your bag when doing the quest.
Duskwood From wowhead.com added by Thrales

~~~SPOILER BELOW~~~
Lore: Stalvin was a man that worked at Moonbrook School house and was also a personal tutor whom fell in love with one of his students named Tilloa. She apparently was much younger then him, and soon found a man her age to be with. At that point, she introduced this groom to be to Stalvin, whom took it as an insult, and butchered the girl and her groom in cold-blood. It is also mentioned that he killed their entire families as well. (doesn't go into detail on that part).
Toxic Tears: Spooky Box
    Lately I have been watching a number of Toxic Tears's videos, and so far, this series is pretty much my favorite. In case you don't know what Spooky Box is, it's basically a monthly box similar to Birch Box but for people (like myself) who are gothy and love Halloween. Each item in the box is handmade by ether Sarah or other artists from around the world. In some ways, they look a bit like if Hottopic had a box, which would be awesome, since it's quite obvious that I love that store.
The video Below
This is a video of one of the series that Toxic Tears has done on Spooky Box, and it's really cute/goth at the same time. This one is called Enchanted Forest. So it's full of interesting kind of witchy items.
Hello, I realize it is January 5th, but I am making this post as a start of the new year of 2016. So here it is. This is about my Stardoll Account. The website is very girly, but there is a gothic side to it, and I mostly played it when I was younger. Game Review: Sims 3 Supernatural
Random Game Review - Sims 3 Supernatural
As of lately, I took a break from World of Warcraft, and decided to play a different game. The Sims 3: Supernatural. A game that came out about three years ago, and is still fun to play. This is the first time, of course, that I have really played this game (supernatural) and decided that I might has well make a review on it.
So here it is:
About The Sims 3: Supernatural
The Sims 3: Supernatural came out in the year 2012 (3 Years ago) as an expansion for The Sims 3: Ambitions. In this expansion, the player is allowed to create various sims of various races. This includes: Vampires, Witches, Ghosts, Werewolves, Fairies, and of course, Humans. The player also has an option to move to a new town.
Gameplay
The gameplay is a bit more exciting then the previous expansion, the new town is  full of forests, full of other supernaturals, and has a very interesting atmosphere. But, I always end up returning to Sunset valley, only because the map seems bigger, and I like to have the supernaturals in one area of the town. Anyway, moving on to the races, Witches are a lot of fun to play. Not only do you get to cast spells and make potions, but you also get to do conversion rituals. Meaning that you can turn objects into other things using your magic power which you can regain by ether waiting a little while, or drinking the potion Essence of Magic.
The vampires in the game, are a bit interesting, but are not new. In a previous expansion, Late Night, Vampire sims are introduced. Which was an interesting addition, but in this one, they are a bit more interesting. Now of course, this is based on reviews, but so far in this one, you can become immortal by earning enough points (lifetime happiness rewards). Which is nice because you don’t have to keep applying the vampiric sunscreen potion every single time you want to go outside for a while.
The Fairies in the game are similar to witches, but have a cool feature added in.
Translucent sparkly wings. Like the witches, Fairies can use magic with a wand and have a magic power bar that tells how much magical energy they have. An interesting feature added to this one, is that you can walk up to any of the fairies and ask for Fairy Dust. (I’m not really sure yet what you use this for).
As for the werewolves and ghosts, I have yet to play those, but so far they seem to have similar interactions. Werewolves have the two forms, one being a person and they other more animal like. On a full moon (which is located above the portrait of the sim) the werewolf will turn. Other times regardless of the sim’s race, he/she will get a bit luny and possibly hit or hug another sim.
Overall Review
The game is fun, and worth playing. In many ways, I would recommend the Witch, because there are a lot more interactions and fun things to do (like casting a fire blast on another sim or ice blast, which causes the sim to freeze). It also feels awesome to stand there and make potions while wearing a witches hat. Just adds more to the game.
Currently, I may do another review after this on the World adventures and will have a more detailed report on how things go with this. In the meantime, here are screenshots or pictures of sims doing things in game.
More screenshots below with descriptions underneath
Click the image to enlarge.
This is Bonehilda. She is a skeleton maid that lives in a coffin type house
and when you summon her, she cleans your house and will even fight off
burglars (while freaking a few sims out in the process, because she's
a skeleton).
Bonehilda's House (Above)
What happens when you throw a Zombiefication Elixir at a sim.
(or cast the spell on a sim if you are high enough in magic)
The control panel in supernatural. Notice the Phase of the moon under the portrait,
which indicates what each new phase is. When the phase is a full moon,
a notification comes up and your sim might do a few interesting things.
